![]() That hey your ship computer will not automatically save locations and you have to bookmark them or hey this is the best way to scan things and this is how you do it. Also why not explain to people during the exploration tutorial quest FULLY how these mechanics work. So yes I did read and if I was in an end game area why was everything level 1. In the text for the info box on the worm hole it said it has a duration of about 2 days and that it was unstable and that there was no way to see where it would take me. The things in the worm hole were all level 1 and my level 1 probes, hacking, and relic were all working in this area after the worm hole. Not without significantly altering your attitude, at least. If suffering a fairly minor setback (you've only played for a few hours, and barely had anything to lose) results in this kind of frustration for you, you wouldn't do well in this game over the long term if you stayed. But ultimately, I agree with your decision to quit. ![]() Can't blame the game for this, only yourself. It's fairly obvious that you weren't prepared for what was inside. The NPCs inside are extremely strong, and in most cases require fleets of players to fight. Wormholes are completely lawless, and don't even have a live local chat to be able to see who's inside with you. They make it clear that they lead to dangerous space, and have jump warnings. Sometimes you'd need to go through a few wormhole systems until you find one that leads back to high-sec.Īdditionally, wormholes can be considered as part of EVE's "end-game" areas. Since all wormholes have static exits, you can always probe out a different connection to leave. It's very likely that the connection collapsed shortly after you entered it. When you show info on them (which I assume you didn't do), it tells you the rough condition of the wormhole. Sorry but this game is far to frustrating to even try to figure it out. To bad my ships computer needed more ram to save locations I have already explored. Most of my 11 hours were trying to figure out how to do things. There is no way for me to get back to where I need to be. ![]() I still can't get back home to get the payout. All my treasures which I had no clue what to do with anyway and all of my items I bought for my scanner ship were gone. No way to get back home being in uncharted space and my ships computer running out of ram not saving the location of stuff that I already found I tried to warp to green areas since I thought they were safe and once I get to the first location that is green I see red vehicles and get one shotted. ![]() Well this system has like 5 worm holes and I end up not being able to jump or warp anywhere close to back home. I got the answer that I have to scan again. Not sure what the reasoning for this is but I asked for help. Happy with my cargo I open up the probe map and what do I find? Nothing! The worm hole that I went through to get here for some reason my computer on my ship ran out of ram or something and didn't save that location. And I find some places and get some treasure. Well I scan this new area about 10 feet away from this worm hole which I know leads back to where I came from right. Ok let's scan and find some treasure since my ships computer has to save the worm hole that I just went though right. Worm hole found! Let's find out where it goes. I found a worm hole scanned it and pin pointed its location. Got excited after completing the tutorial and set out to probe stuffs. I started playing the game and learned about exploration.
